XXI International Conference «Public Administration in the Context of New Challenges»

From December 3 to December 7, 2024, XXI International Conference “Public Administration in the Context of New Challenges” will be held at the School of Public Administration of Lomonosov Moscow State University.

The conference will be attended by Russian and foreign scientists, representatives of public authorities and management, parliamentarians, experts, journalists, teachers, graduate students.

The plenary session of the conference will be held on December 3, 2024 and will be devoted to the topic “Value orientations in the system of social sciences and public administration”.

During the session, the speakers are going to discuss the main objectives and achievements in the process of revising the systemic foundations of humanitarian disciplines and the sphere of public administration, related both to the development of value components in the life of society and to updating the principles of training civil servants.

CONFERENCE PROGRAM

The purpose of the conference is to discuss the most important and urgent problems of administration from the standpoint of the main trends in the development of economics, law, public policy, ideology, civil society, social sphere, international relations and human interaction with the environment; exchange of scientific and practical experience; development of recommendations for improving the theoretical foundations of the phenomena under consideration. The issues to be discussed during the conference concern the modernization of the economy, digital transformation of public administration, modern opportunities for managing social systems and personnel management in the face of new challenges, prospects for strategic planning and import substitution. Political, legal and administrative aspects of the functioning of public authority, national issues, peculiarities of the transformation of the world economy under sanctions, problems of sustainable business development in the context of modern global processes will be considered.

The review of the conference will be published in “Lomonosov Public Administration Journal. Series 21”

A collection of works will be published in digital form, and placed in the RSCI system. The Organizing Committee of the conference reserves the right to select articles for publication. The collection will include the articles of the authors who made a report. Absentee participation in the conference is not provided. Articles must be sent by e-mail before January 15, 2025 to: conf@spa.msu.ru
